We ask you to register to use Change Exchange so that we can manage any possible abuse or conflicts which might arise in its use, and so that other users know your basic details such as age, your region and whether you are a scientist or engineer.

The British Science Association moderates this website and reserves the right not to approve registrations if necessary. We will approve registrations within one working day (at the most).

We advise that you choose a suitable username although you do not need to use your name. The British Science Association will not share your details with anyone. Only your username, region, age and whether you are a scientist or engineer will be displayed publically. Your email address with be private and will only be used by the British Science Association to contact you about the forum if necessary. After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to add more details to your profile including a picture and your signature should you so wish. Please provide accurate information. Any information we determine to be inaccurate or inappropriate in any way will be removed, with or without prior notice.

Note that when you register your details the software places a cookie, (a text file containing bits of information (such as your username and password), in your browser's cache). This is ONLY used to keep you logged in/out. The software does not collect or send any other form of information to your computer.
You must keep your password secret for your protection and for validity reasons. If someone else posts a comment under your name and it is deemed inappropriate the British Science Association reserves the right to delete your profile with no prior notice.
